Quality Evaluation of Hunting Weapon
Chabiniok, Pavel ; Knoflíček, Radek (referee) ; Jankových, Róbert (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with evaluation of quality of hunting weapon. In the introduction part are described chosen terms and definitions. In next parts are desciber requirements which are required of hunting weapon. In practical part are described manufacturing tests and evaluation qualitication of inner surface shotgun barrel of hunting weapon Brno COMBO. In the conclusion are summarized received knowledge in evaluation of quality of hunting weapon, including recommendation for praxis.
ECG quality evaluation
Scholasterová, Viktorie ; Němcová, Andrea (referee) ; Smital, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with ECG quality evaluation. Its main goal is to examine the theoretical basis for a realization of selected methods for ECG quality evaluation. In the theoretical part of the thesis there is described electrocardiography, morphology of electrocardiogram, types of signal interference and Holter recorders. A basic procedure of ECG quality evaluation including filtration, detection of important characteristics of ECG signal and an overview of chosen methods follows. The practical part contains a description of three methods for ECG quality evaluation – a method of average heart rate, a method of calculation signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and a method of band-pass filters. Finally, the results of the methods using artificial data, real-time data and data from a competition PhysioNet/Computing in Cardiology Challenge 2011 are evaluated.
Implementation of a metric for video quality evaluation
Kachlík, Miloš ; Dostál, Petr (referee) ; Slanina, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this work is to create a program able to implement the metric CPqD-IES to evaluate the quality of video in system MATLAB. This metric is described in Recommendation ITU-R BT.1683 for objective video quality measurement techniques for standard definition digital broadcast television with presence of a full reference. Video quality assessment is calculated objective parameters based on image segmentation. Natural scenes are segmented into edge, plane and texture regions. Objective parameters are assigned to each of these contexts. The relationship between each objective parameter and a subjective impairment level is approximated by the logistic curve, which is resulting in an estimated impairment level for each parameter.
Current Technologies for Photographic Color Prints Production
Štěpánková, Eva ; Jančovičová, Viera (referee) ; Dzik, Petr (advisor)
Paper gives a brief overview on current technologies for large-scale production of color photographic prints. Advantages and disadvantages of individual technologies are discussed. A comparison of color gamuts is included as well.
Quality evaluation of the connection of low-voltage control circuit cables
Chabiniok, Pavel ; Prostredník, Daniel (referee) ; Jankových, Róbert (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with evaluation of quality of the connection of low-voltage control circuit cables, with the emphasis on quality assurance of crimps. An analysis of possible quality control methods, including a map of the crimping process, was created. Further, the thesis includes proposals for improvement of the original system. Furthermore, a proposal of non-destructive inspection system was produced. The conclusion summarizes the knowledge gained in quality control of crimping, including practical recommendations.
Breathing Rate Estimation from the Photoplethysmogram
Petrík, Jakub ; Králík, Martin (referee) ; Kozumplík, Jiří (advisor)
The main topic of this bachelor thesis are methods for breathing rate estimations from photopletysmographic signals. In the theoretical part of the thesis we find a biref review of methods that are used for breathing rate estimation. These methods are than tested and their performance is evaluated on two pubilc databases BIDMC and CapnoBase. These databases also contain reference values of respiratory rate.
Rich Features in Phrase-Based Machine Translation
Kos, Kamil ; Bojar, Ondřej (advisor) ; Žabokrtský, Zdeněk (referee)
In this thesis we investigate several methods how to improve the quality of statistical machine translation (MT) by using linguistically rich information. First, we describe SemPOS, a metric that uses shallow semantic representation of sentences to evaluate the translation quality. We show that even though this metric has high correlation with human assessment of translation quality it is not directly suitable for system parameter optimization. Second, we extend the log-linear model used in statistical MT by additional source-context model that helps to better distinguish among possible translation options and select the most promising translation for a given context.

Získávání dat pro hodnocení kvality veřejných prostranství
Kilnarová, Pavla ; Horáková, Eva
Urban spaces hold a lot of essential public functions and play an irreplaceable role in the operating of a modern city. Therefore, monitoring their quality in relation to social needs and the way of its utilization are very important. There are some empirical methods suitable for long-term observation based on direct observation of users’ behaviour in a space that require a rather high number of researchers and are time-consuming. The most frequently used empirical methods for studying public life are the monitoring of pedestrian movement, the monitoring of traffic movement, path tracking and the monitoring of people movement intensity based on the local amenities.
